As-built drawings are used in remodeling and addition projects to give designers and builders an accurate picture of the current condition of a home. These drawings are essential when figuring out what types of renovations are possible and how much they could potentially cost. As-built drawings are usually created from scratch as there are usually no existing drawings of the property. This requires on-site measurements of both the interior and exterior of the home.
